Our employees support numerous organizations in and around the Kansas City community through charitable contributions and community event participation.

Kansas City Chiefs party

Employees wore red and had a tailgate party ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs playing in the big game in February 2020.

Ronald McDonald House

A group of employee volunteers from Capital Electric Line Builders recently spent a Saturday cleaning houses and grounds and cooking meals at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. Employees plan to volunteer at the facility three more Saturdays in 2019.

Rotunda Event at Children’s Mercy

On June 20, 2019, volunteers from Capital Electric Line Builders handed out 150 hard hats, finger puppets and coloring books to patients and their siblings walking through the Rotunda on their way to appointments or being checked into Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Breakfast at Children’s Mercy

Capital Electric served a pancake breakfast for family members of patients in the hospital in May 2019.

Adopt a Family

Employees adopted a family for Christmas in 2018, donating, wrapping and delivering gifts to those who otherwise may not have received any.

Capital Electric employees distributed hardhats and other goodies at Children’s Mercy Hospital during the hospital’s Rotunda Event in July 2018.
