Category 5 Hurricane Irma caused several tornadoes and record flooding in Southwest Florida as it moved slowly inland. The storm surge reached over 15 feet. Over 6.3 million people were requested to evacuate. It left 1,300,000 people without power in the wake of the destruction. Capital Electric Line Builders traveled 1,300 miles to Florida to help restore power. Our 160 employees who responded worked for more than three weeks to restore power.
